Journeys worth the long way round

How it works

Four steps, no hard sell

  1. 01

Tell us what you are after

A short call, or just the enquiry form. We want to know how you like to spend a day far more than which sights you plan to photograph.

  2. 02

    We draft the route

You get an itinerary with the reasoning shown: why this village and not that one, why the ferry rather than the flight, where the slow days sit.

  3. 03

    Revise it until it fits

Two rounds of changes are included, and nobody is going to push you towards the expensive hotel. Book only when it reads right.

  4. 04

    We stay reachable

A local host on the ground and a real phone number for the whole trip, including the hours when things actually go wrong.

What people say afterwards

Collected after the trip, published unedited.

We had been to Greece twice before and seen almost none of this. The caïque nights were the part our children still talk about.
Hanne & Joost V.Cyclades Slow Sail, 2025
Nine days, three workshops, and not one moment that felt like a coach tour. The indigo dyer alone was worth the flight.
Priya R.Kyoto Artisans & Trails, 2025
A storm closed the coast road on day two. They had rerouted the whole afternoon before we had finished breakfast.
Michael O.Amalfi on Foot & Water, 2024
Three nights out in the countryside instead of Reykjavík was the right call — we saw the aurora on two of them.
